Why volcanoes erupt?

Deep inside Earth, there's molten rock called magma. When pressure builds up from gases and hot magma, it pushes through cracks in the Earth's crust, causing an eruption.

⭐ Bonus fact: The hottest part of a volcano is the magma deep inside, which can be over 1,800 degrees Fahrenheit!
