Why does some mountain have pointy tops?

Mountains get their pointy tops from wind, rain, and ice slowly wearing them down over millions of years. This process, called erosion, carves the rock into sharp peaks and jagged ridges. Over time, even the tallest mountains can become more rounded.

⭐ Bonus fact: The highest mountain on Earth is Mount Everest, which is still growing taller by a tiny bit each year!
