Why we have different time zones around the world?
The Earth spins all the time, and only one side faces the Sun at once. So, as the Earth turns, different places have sunlight (day) while others are in darkness (night). Time zones help us keep track of this, so everyone's clocks match whether it's day or night where they are!
⭐ Bonus fact: There are 24 main time zones, one for each hour it takes the Earth to spin around once.
