Why does our shadow change size during the day?

Your shadow is made when your body blocks light from the sun. As the sun moves higher or lower in the sky, the angle of the light changes, making your shadow longer or shorter. Early in the morning or late in the afternoon, the sun is low, so your shadow looks extra long!

⭐ Bonus fact: Your shadow is shortest at noon when the sun is directly overhead.
