Why some dinosaurs had feathers?

Not all dinosaurs had feathers, but many of them did! Scientists think feathers first helped dinosaurs stay warm, like a cozy blanket. Later, some feathered dinosaurs used their feathers to help them fly, like birds today.

⭐ Bonus fact: Modern birds are actually descendants of feathered dinosaurs!
